ABOUT MAGNUS

Magnus Steels was setup in 1997 by promoters with engineering & management back ground. We have evolved in last 27 years from 6 employees & very small seed capital to gross revenue of Rs 550 million in sales this year, with four units spread over 82000 sq ft. in close proximity to each other.

With sound knowledge of Metallurgy, Machining and Mechanical Assemblies, we handle Engineering Fabrication, Forging, Casting : do there in house Machining as stand alone parts and also in most of cases we integrate them in mechanical assemblies. Engineering fabrication, machining and mechanical assemblies are in-house and casting, forging ( closed as well as open die ) is outsourced to suppliers developed with strong SCM in last 27 yrs with strong QA.

2023 Expanded 3rd unit and added 4th unit , total area 82000 sq ft , added new customers SMS AND DANIELI , addition of SKODA CNC FLOOR BORING WD160, chassis top and lower link for mahindra , roll change , lance assy ,bundle cradle , guide and idle module,conveyor trough and couplers

2019 Added 3rd unit, total area now 40500 sq ft. Added SANDVIK ,VALMET, JOST and OLIVER. Started mechanical assy for mining equipment viz vpa chute assy, grate bar, palletizing plant sub assy, apron feeder and stations for jaw/cone crusher , Added CNC DBC 130 HORIZONTAL BORING

2016 Installed Doosan HMC NHM 8000 Kafo double column BMC 3127 Started fabrication and machining of abrasion resistant steel 500 Hb

Added customers: FL Smidth and Mahindra for items flywheel, clutch housing, water pump, high chrome cast ACTUATOR valve

2011 Added 2nd unit AND started supplies to METSO , ISGEC AND ESCORTS ,diversified to crusher, mining and construction equipment industry. Started new lines for carriage bars, forklift attachments, winch parts ,vibratory compactor parts mechanical assemblies like boggie wheel, rollers assy, sprung support assy, anti skew assy, drive assy for slew. Installed CNC VTL and ROBO welding.

2007 Moved to new premises 22500 sq ft. supplemented by adding CMM & VMC ie FORWARD INTEGRATION of assemblies of Fork Lift trail axles complete with machined fabrication, machined castings hubs, toughened knuckle, carburized pins, bearings, seals and hydraulic cylinder.

2003 First Horizontal boring machine installed, supplies started to Voltas and Godrej forklift division for fabricated and machined trail axles First CNC Turning Centre installed and moved from rented to own premises of 9000 sq ft.

1999 Installed press shop, thread rolling and started supplies to our first OEM SML ISUZU: suspension parts viz stablizer bar ,shackles, mechanical telescopic screw jack & U Bolts
